摘要: Rhodotorula gracilis, a red yeast, was shown to produce phytase and the cultural conditions were standardized for phytase production. Permeabilization treatments using detergents, organic solvents, enzymes physical methods performed compared by measuring phytase activity of whole cells. None permeabilization except freeze-thaw method enhanced activity. The enzyme activity yeast suspension subjected 15 cycles freezing thawing was 77·26 U g1 Phytate in feeds is an anti-nutritional factor which complexes with many minerals, rendering it unavailable monogastric animals. gracilis subjected freeze-thawing can be used as source feeds enhance phosphorus availability.
