摘要: Objective To compare retrospectively the distribution of foetal biometry data as measured by midwives and physicians during second third trimester screening an unselected population pregnant women. Methods Standard measurements biparietal diameter (BPD), head circumference (HC), abdominal (AC), femur length (FL) were performed four ten at 20 to 24 weeks gestation 30 34 part routine ultrasound examinations over a 26-month period (Jan. 2005–Mar. 2007). All converted into Z-scores using different prediction equations. The reference chart best fitting our practice was determined for each fetal parameter (French College Sonographers BPD, Chitty et al. HC FL, Snidjers Nicolaides AC). means SDs Z-score distributions collected compared Student's t-test Fisher-Snedecor test SDs. Results We retrieved 1566 1631 made respectively between gestation, 1710 1578 gestation. Mean values recorded significantly closer 0 (p < 0.05) many parameters. SD also lower below 1. Conclusion In this study, have greater tendency than normalize data. Such normalization may hamper sensitivity abnormal growth. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
