摘要: The sea snake tick (Amblyomma nitidum) is a host specialist of snakes in the genus Laticauda and one few ticks which could be regarded as semi-marine. Yet despite attention this species has received due to its bizarre ecology, distribution remains poorly known geographic records occurrence through Asia-Pacific are highly fragmentary. For first time recorded from Taiwan based on specimens collected yellow-lipped krait (Laticauda colubrina).
