Adaptive searching and replication of images in mobile hierarchical peer-to-peer networks

摘要: Due to the limitation of resources in mobile handheld devices and bandwidth constraints wireless networks, it is important efficiently manage image content traffic improve network throughput response time. The efficient distribution images networks based on many parameters like quality service requirement, available bandwidth, restricted memory diverse user profiles. We consider digital as data objects accessed a hierarchical ad-hoc peer-to-peer network, referred M-P2P. Our objective optimize number replicas such architecture resource limitations requesting peers equipped with miniature well (MANET). While replicating images, fragments different resolution their residues are used decrease search turnaround call this replication algorithm Ada-Rep. Performance evaluation done by simulating Ada-Rep, base uniform methods evaluate time, failure rate, usage, etc. results prove efficiency better performance
