摘要: Lung cancer remains the leading cause of related deaths worldwide. Despite advances in detection technologies, most patients diagnosed with lung already harbor metastatic lesions. Because early is one primary determinants patient outcome, a transgenic mouse model was utilized to identify markers tumors humans. DNA microarray analysis arising MMTV-IGF-II mice showed 9 genes consistently elevated murine tumors. Western blot analyses confirmed that several these proteins were and immunohistochemical identified 3 proteins, microsomal glutathione-S-transferase 1 (Mgst1), cathepsin H syndecan as being compared non-tumor bearing tissue normal surrounding tumor. These also human adenocarcinoma squamous cell carcinomas. Importantly, stage, node negative indicating their ability detect lesions would be amenable surgical resection. Therefore, our findings indicate Mgst1, should further evaluated capable identifying stage © 2004 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
