摘要: Two types of sludge generated from effluent treatment plants two different paint industries and customarily disposed in landfills were used for vermicomposting conjunction with organic substrates like cow dung, camel poultry dropping de-oiled Karanja cake, among which was found to be unsuitable earthworms hence not used. The selected wastes various ratios (1: 1: 1, 2, 4 or 0.2) a month half Eisenia fetida Savigny after pre-composting period 10 days initial breakdown waste mixtures. Flux CO2 (mg m d) surface vermibeds during monitored just more than three weeks moderately variable temporally (coefficient variation, CV = 1734%) peaks appearing towards the end weeks, maximum respiratory activity microorganisms Average daily flux all treatments followed perfect degree polynomial trend. Carbon lost via total emission study ranged 0.6 0.9% C added these treatments. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
