摘要: The effects of digitalis on vulnerability to atrial fibrillation and flutter were assessed in man, using the model repetitive firing initiated by post-drive extrastimulation. Nine patients without heart failure or significant mitral valve disease tested before 30 minutes after administration 0.01 mg/kg ouabain. When was manifested flutter, neither cycle length nor interval from initiating beat first consistently altered Repetitive found at site with shortest functional refractory period. vulnerable zone bordered this period lengthened ouabain, 231 +/- 13 246 15 msec (mean standard error mean) (P less than 0.025). Partly because prolonged refractoriness, curtailed 32.2 5.7 9.4 4.6 0.001). This result suggests a protective effect against independent its hemodynamic actions.
