摘要: The propagation of SH waves in a solid containing screen line-like scatterers is investigated. When the are uniformly distributed, amplitudes coherent inside and outside evaluated closed form. In analysis, multiple scattering effects taken into account within context first-order approximation. A Global Closure Assumption proposed, which yields an effective wavenumber identical to that Waterman Truell. can be fibers circular or elliptical cross-sections; they also two-dimensional cracks with slit-like cross-sections. Specific analytical numerical results presented for flat empty cavities those two cases, figures illustrate variations reflection transmission coefficients as functions frequency scatterer concentration. crack cavity results, respectively, compared earlier works.
