摘要: Abstract Transmission Network Expansion Planning (TNEP) in modern electricity systems is carried out on a cost-benefit analysis basis; the planner identifies investments that maximize social welfare. As integration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) increases, there real challenge to accurately capture vast variability characterizes system operation within planning problem. Conventional approaches rely large number scenarios for representing operating points can quickly lead computational issues. An alternative approach becoming increasingly necessary select representative from original population via clustering techniques. However, direct input domain may not characteristics which are important investment decision-making. This paper presents novel objective-based scenario selection framework TNEP obtain optimal decisions with significantly reduced states. Different frameworks, variable s and techniques compared determine most appropriate approach. The superior performance proposed demonstrated through case study modified IEEE 118-bus system.
