摘要: Abstract Rod shaped Zinc oxide (ZnO) Nanoparticles were synthesized by Sol-gel method via environmental friendly approach using a cucum sativa fruit peel extract as biosolvent and reducing agent. These process practices edible material solvent which is non-toxic utilizes waste to synthesize ZnO nano rods. We also investigated the effect of different concentration on crystallite size, morphology optical studies done systematically. Higher induced reduction in particle size was confirmed X-ray diffraction (XRD) Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). band gap observed for Z-25CP due Burstein–Moss effect. Room temperature Photo luminescence (RTPL) exhibited two peaks, one peak corresponds Near edge emission (NBE) another prominent at 516 nm deep-level (DL) might be singly ionized oxygen vacancy (Vo). The mechanism green deep level explored based defects sites. may create ferromagnetism can promising candidate applications Dilute magnetic semiconductor (DMS).
