Taxonomic revision of the Afrotropical hover fly genus Senaspis Macquart (Diptera, Syrphidae)

摘要: The representatives of the Afrotropical hover fly genus Senaspis Macquart (Diptera) are revised. In total, ten species recognized. apophysata (Bezzi) is herewith placed as junior synonym S. flaviceps Macquart, livida dentipes (Macquart) and griseifacies haemorrhoa (Gerstaecker). All redescribed an identification key provided. DNA barcoding analysis (7 species, 64 barcodes) showed that technique can be used to unambiguously identify species. relationships among different discussed based on morphological data.
