摘要: Abstract Electric vehicles have the potential to lower emissions in mobility sector, but especially high costs might hinder their market development. This paper aims access environmental and economic impacts potentials by comparing CO2-emissions of small vehicles. Considering actual data it is analysed, if under which conditions electric are financially competitive for private consumers can be saved. For this, a multiple-stage approach focusing on (1) during production operation, (2) (3) external emissions. A model total cost ownership applied analysis costs. Results show that exceed combustion engine phase, cause fewer operation. Total saved even with low annual driving distances (2500–5500 km/a today). highly depend form electricity production. Today, Due decreases gain financial advantages future. External high, (up 15% costs), none considered cases enough give advantage today. picture will change
