摘要: We study light coherent transport in the weak localization regime using magneto-optically cooled strontium atoms. The backscattering cone is measured four polarization channels resonant with a J(g)=0 to J(e)=1 transition of atom. find an enhancement factor close 2 helicity preserving channel, agreement theoretical predictions. This observation confirms effect internal structure as key mechanism for contrast reduction observed rubidium cold cloud [G.Labeyrie et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 83, 5266 (1999)]. Experimental results are good Monte Carlo simulations taking into account geometry effects.
