摘要: LIGHT is a recently identified member of the TNF superfamily that up-regulated upon activation T cells. Herpesvirus entry mediator, one its receptors, constitutively expressed on immature dendritic cells (DCs). In this report, we demonstrate induces partial DC maturation as demonstrated by Ag presentation and up-regulation adhesion costimulatory molecules. LIGHT-stimulated DCs show reduced macropinocytosis enhanced allogeneic stimulatory capacity but fail to produce significant amounts IL-12, IL-6, IL-1beta, or TNF-alpha compared with unstimulated DCs. However, cooperates CD154 (CD40 ligand) in maturation, particular potentiation cell proliferation cytokine secretion TNF-alpha. Moreover, costimulation allows prime vitro-enhanced specific CTL responses. Our results suggest plays an important role DC-mediated immune responses regulating signals represents potential tool for DC-based cancer immunotherapy.
