摘要: Abstract Extreme diversity of application requirements and a large number different available protocols are key characteristics Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). There is need for systematic approach to rapidly compose optimize specific protocol stacks in an automated fashion. In this article we present the design, implementation performance evaluation CONFab, framework automatic stack composition founded on component based optimization approach. We treat as collection interdependent configurable components have goal find most suitable components, well optimal parameters selection individual CONFab captures deployment scenario description, relates it desired metrics, suggests parameter settings. It utilizes ontology centric knowledge base select from pool alternatives reason their compatibility, thus creating appropriate stacks. The equipped with additional plugins that allow, instance, incorporating feedback deployed systems user inputs anticipate network performance. plugin mechanism also enables further advanced routines, such genetic algorithms, which can be used efficient exploration corresponding state space. use set well-known medium access control routing validate Indriya testbed specified conditions. Our experimental results show its design powerful enabler obtaining suit thereby achieving high network.
