摘要: Abstract A three-dimensional hydrodynamic forecasting model of the Great Lakes Huron–Erie Corridor is used to investigate mixing and relationship between hydraulic wind-induced currents in a shallow lake system which inflows come through several channels river delta. The hydrodynamics Lake St. Clair River Delta are evaluated for (1) one-year simulation from 1985 including water age calculation, (2) 8 different wind direction scenarios, (3) storm event. Observations simulations show distinct regions forced by either flow or stress over lake. However, during severe events, these found shift even disappear due changes delta channel inputs into These underscore need realistic, unsteady boundary conditions at interfaces Steady inflow will not allow potential shifting current zones, also fail resolve retardation reversals events.
