摘要: Abstract A lidar (0.694 μm wavelength) and a passive radiometer (10–12 μm) have been used together to remotely sense the optical properties gross structure of cirrus (the LIRAD method). This article reports on observations midlatitude taken during two extended experiments at Aspendale, Victoria, Australia, covering one winter season summer six-week period tropical Darwin, Northern Territory. Information has obtained infrared emittance, depth, cloud depolarization ratio, “anomalous” backscatter, effective ratios backscatter extinction wavelength visible extinction, profile cirrus. The results show that emittance volume absorption coefficient cirrus, when averaged over year, are close functions midcloud temperature.
