Optical manipulation of collective spin correlations in semiconductors with a squeezed vacuum of polarized photons

摘要: We calculate the transfer rate of correlations from polarization entangled photons to collective spin a many-electron state in two-band system. It is shown that when semiconductor absorbs pairs two-mode squeezed vacuum, certain fourth-order electron-photon processes correlate spins excited electron different quasimomenta. Different distributions quantum Stokes vector light lead either enhancement or reduction correlations, depending on symmetry distribution. find as squeezing becomes nonclassical, exhibit crossover being positive with an $\ensuremath{\sim}{N}^{2}$ ($N$ average photon number) scaling negative $\ensuremath{\sim}N$ scaling, even $N$ not small. Negative mean preponderance singlets optically generated state. discuss possibility measure through measurement Faraday rotation fluctuation spectrum steady-state configuration.
