摘要: The recent invasion of water hyacinth Eichhornia crassipes (C. Mart.) Solms (1883) in the Guadiana River Basin (Spain) is described and distribution this Amazonian floating plant analyzed from a geobotanical chorological perspective. Georeferenced locations Spain Portugal are presented relative growth rate (RGR) doubling time (DT) indexes defined by Gopal (1987) were calculated. sexual reproductive cycles determined order to evaluate invasive capacity at these latitudes. Predictive models plant's potential constructed based on expert knowledge using Geographic Information System, basis water's physico-chemical parameters. Given size area distribution, it seems necessary make provision for an important increase subsequent maintenance level means logistics targeted prevention control weed.
