摘要: Wear behaviour of aluminium matrix composites is characterized by the dry spindle wear test under various conditions (volume fractions reinforcements, sliding distances and speeds). resistance improved due to presence but no noticeable improvements are observed in with more than 20% addition reinforcements. To analyse mechanisms, surfaces examined scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The major mechanisms discontinuous metal (MMC)s strongly dependent on speeds. Dominant mechanism adhesive-abrasive at low intermediate speeds, melt high Weight loss linearly increased distance. effect reinforcements' orientations behaviours also discussed.
