摘要: Abstract Helical nucleocapsids of each the paramyxoviruses simian virus 5 (SV5), Newcastle disease (NDV), and Sendai have been isolated in two different forms. One form contains larger protein subunits is obtained from mature virions or infected cells dispersed by ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. The other possesses smaller trypsin. estimated molecular weights three viruses are similar: SV5, 61,000; virus, 60,000; NDV, 56,000. nucleocapsid also very 43,000; 46,000; 47,000. helical composed subunit appears to be less flexible more stable than that formed subunit. There suggestive evidence conversion proteolytic cleavage may occur intracellularly. possibility such a mechanism could involved accumulation persistently with discussed.
