摘要: A coating composition for an ink jet recording medium comprises aqueous suspension of absorptive silica pigment, a polyvinyl alcohol binder, and cationic fixing agent. The is dispersed at pH values in the range 4.0 to 7.0. pigment preferably mixture 75% or more gel having pore volume 0.5-1.5 cc/g, 10% alumina hydrate. method making down applying it substrate also disclosed.
