摘要: Evaluating the bonding quality of composite material is becoming one main challenges faced by aeronautic industries. This work aims to development a technique using shock wave, which would enable quantify mechanical quality. Laser experiments were carried out. enables high tensile stress generation in thickness bonds. The resulting damage has been quantified different methods such as confocal microscopy, ultrasound and cross section observation. discrimination between correct bond weak was possible thanks these experiments. Nevertheless, laser sources are not well adapted for optimization test because often fixed settings. That why impacts on bonded composites also performed this work. By changing aluminum projectiles, generated stresses wave propagation moved toward composite/bond interface. made observations prove that possible. key parameters waves have identified.
