摘要: This review highlights an emerging function for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in carcinoma and discusses mechanisms involved the elaboration of VEGF autocrine loops. Evidence is provided that contributes to two major components invasive carcinoma: survival migration. Moreover, findings discussed support hypothesis progression selects cells depend on as a factor. Furthermore, related hypothesis, which developed, 64 integrin, has been implicated progression, linked its ability regulate translation and, consequently, signaling. The reviewed challenge notion cancer limited angiogenesis suggest receptor-based therapeutics, addition targeting angiogenesis, may also impair tumor cell invasion directly. © 2003 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
