摘要: Service function chaining (SFC) enables the traffic to be sequentially processed by service functions (SFs) based on its requirement. Any failure path (SFP) of SFC needs rapidly recovered for continued end-to-end delivery. A local detouring approach could achieve rapid recovery. However, providing protection each component an SFP consume memory switch store alternate flow rules. In addition, efforts required per-flow in overburden software-defined networking controller (SDNC). order reduce complexity associated with recovery process, we propose segment-based (SSP) approach. Our proposed SSP divides into a set segments (SSes). employs flow-grouping strategy group flows that share common SS enable via single point change action and thus minimizes effort detouring. Additionally, conserves consumption configuring protection.
