摘要: During the past fifty to sixty years, tremendous advances have been made in laboratory preparation of complex, naturally occurring organic substances. As early as first part present century, pioneering work was being carried out various laboratories, and among successes this vastly challenging field may be cited synthesis numerous monoterpenes; alkaloids, including nicotine, dihydroquinine simpler opium bases; porphyrins, blood pigments; common hexoses, well many amino acids peptides.
