摘要: Pb-17 wt% Sb hypereutectic alloy was directionally solidified upward with three different growth rates (8 μm/s, 18 42 166 μm/s and 497 μm/s) at a constant temperature gradient (3.6 K/mm) in the Bridgman-type apparatus. The dependence of characteristic microstructure parameters such as primary dendrite arm spacing (λ1) secondary (λ2) on rate (V) were determined by using linear regression analysis. Variations electrical resistivity (ρ) for cast samples temperatures range 300–550 K measured standard dc four-point probe technique. variations thermal conductivity same alloys from WiedemannFranz SmithPalmer equations values resistivity. enthalpy fusion means differential scanning calorimeter heating trace during transformation solid to liquid. corrosion resistance analyzed Tafel extrapolation polarization methods conducted 5% sodium chloride solution contact air maintained room temperature. Effects also investigated.
