摘要: Tillage is declining in wheat production systems the Great Plains. Our objective was to determine if a tillage × cultivar interaction occurred for grain yield, protein concentration, kernel weight, and test weight hard red spring (Triticum aestivum L. emend. Thell.) wheat-fallow monoculture. We also wanted know seeding rate interactions these traits. The cultivars AC Minto, Amidon, Bergen, Grandin, Norm were seeded at 123, 247, 371 live kernels m -2 conventional-till (CONT), reduced-till (RT), notill (NT) randomized complete block with split split-plot arrangement southwestern North Dakota during 1995-1998. X cultivar, did not occur any trait (P > 0.05). Grain unaffected by system. A positive quadratic response yield as increased. increased from 577 586 g -3 123 , but concentration unaffected. ranged 2473 3063 kg ha -1 crude 141 154 30 32 (1000 kernels) 572 590 among five cultivars. Results of this study suggest that recommendations under CONT can be extended RT NT
