摘要: This study assessed the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) and neutral genetic variation structure in two percid species, perch Perca fluviatilis zander Sander lucioperca, a unique brackish ecosystem, Baltic Sea. In addition, to assess importance of MHC diversity disease susceptibility these populations, comparisons were made an introduced, susceptible, P. population Australia. Eighty-three class II B exon 2 variants amplified: 71 from 92 samples, 12 82 S. lucioperca samples. Microsatellite data revealed strong spatial but not fluviatilis, across Both microsatellite showed higher levels Sea compared Australia, which may have facilitated spread endemic virus, EHNV Australian population. The relatively high together with structure, however, suggest that there currently seems be little risk epidemics this system. To ensure remains case face ongoing environmental changes, fisheries habitat disturbance, conservation local-scale is recommended.
