摘要: Abstract One of the ways to fight insect pest in grain is treatment by beam accelerated electrons. This method provides an immediate cessation reproduction their lifetime and intensity nutrition, as well elimination latent forms infestation (eggs, larvae, etc.). The main advantages electron technology disinfestation are following: a possibility continuously at rate corresponding high capacity process equipment modern elevators with full automation safety for personnel; it does not cause pollution environment leaves no residual grain; irradiated can be used immediately. At present, powerful radiation unit (Radiation Disinfestor, RD) on base ELV-4 40 kW power accelerator 3 m length extraction device has been developed technological line 400 t/h. In 1980 two RDs ELV-2 were put into operation Odessa port elevator 200 t/h each. installed between freight wharf port. infested delivered storage. accelerators ELV-type this RD have 20 energy up 1.5 MeV. mode continuous guaranteed time less than 5000 h per year.
