Paper XI(i) Identification of fluid-film bearing dynamics: time-domain or frequency-domain?

摘要: In this paper the authors describe experiments which compare time domain and frequency approaches to estimation of four linearised damping coefficients associated with a squeeze-film vibration isolator. It is shown that while both algorithms satisfy least-squares error criterion, resulting can have quite different numerical values. Whilst feasibility techniques has now been clearly established it concluded further work required ensure more direct comparison.
