摘要: Abstract This chapter describes the current approach to diagnosis and surgical treatment of classic, normocalcemic, normohormonal forms primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT). Indications for PHPT were discussed based on recent guidelines. The best most cost-effective imaging studies obtain localization parathyroid adenoma also reviewed; comparing different radiological tests, risk radiation exposure was discussed. Current aspects goals intraoperative hormone monitoring (IOPTH) reviewed. explains minimally invasive techniques concept “minimally surgery” “surgical invasiveness.” Follow-up care is outlining postparathyroidectomy hypocalcemia. includes role surgeon's experience definition a high-volume surgeon.
