摘要: Abstract This paper presents an experimental investigation conducted on cold-formed steel built-up closed section columns with web stiffeners. To fabricate a section, the single open sections were formed by brake press operation high strength plate of thickness 0.48 and 1.0 mm, then two identical connected together face-to-face self-tapping screws. After measurements material properties initial geometric imperfections made, specimens inward or outward stiffeners at tested between fixed-end boundary conditions various column lengths ranging from 300 to 3200 mm. The failed local buckling interaction flexural buckling. ultimate strengths used compare predicted using direct method, which is adopted in North American Specification Australian/New Zealand Standard for structures. In addition, reliability analysis was performed this design method access its compression members. results show that applicable calculation members
