摘要: Purpose The authors present their experience with the nitinol Goose Neck snare system in retrieval of retained foreign bodies 20 patients. Patients and Methods Foreign were located vascular 13 patients, urinary tract four, biliary one, gastrointestinal peritoneal space one. All retrievals performed use standard angiographic/interventional techniques. Results Success was achieved all cases without attendant complications. removed included catheter guide-wire fragments, an embolization coil, broken or occluded double pigtail catheters, a Wallstent, surgical laparotomy sponge. Conclusion procedures quickly, safely, difficulty. Because its excellent torque control, positive grasping capacity, radiopacity, lack traumatic effect, availability different sizes appropriate for wide variety difficult anatomic spaces, recommend that this device be considered first choice body procedures.
