摘要: Depression is a common mental health problem among adolescents. Depressive symptoms are also important and may appear even during the preschool period. Physical activity, which improve some problems, inversely associated with depression. Due to presence of clinical evidence about relation between use antidepressants suicide, there need for supportive agents antidepressant therapy. Within this context, essential trace elements gain importance further consideration. Protection developing brain from negative effects iron deficiency because deficiency's association poor development. Reactions copper serotonin contribute development depression cause alterations in dopamine norepinephrine levels. Some links zinc depression-like behavior have been noted. The antidepressant-like activity involves interaction serotonergic system. Selenium supplementation significantly improves individuals' mood scores.
