摘要: Background: The laparoscopic approach for managing of liver echinococcosis is a controversial issue because scarce experience worldwide. aim this report to describe the technical details our method and present results. Methods: Consecutive cases managed by surgery are reported. Thoracic x-ray abdominal ultrasound had been performed previously. following aspects were considered as selection criteria: unique cyst located in segments III, IV, V, VI, VIII; diameter less than 7 cm; no evidence infection or calcification. An evacuating puncture was performed, germinative membrane removed, pericystectomy which extirpated pericystic structure with surrounding parenchyma. Specimens removed plastic bag through one ports. Surgical morbidity, hospital stay, time until return work, evidences hydatid recurrence measured. Results: Surgery on eight patients (5 women 3 men) mean age 44.9 years (range, 22–83 years) who 6.6 cm 5–7 cm). During follow-up period 30 months 23–44 months), morbidity verified. Hospital stay 2 days all cases, work within 15 days. Conclusion: This technique, applied selective criteria, can be useful alternative treating hydatidosis its results comparable those open studies involving similar time.
