摘要: Die Chemotherapie ist essenzieller Bestandteil sowohl kurativer als auch palliativer Behandlungskonzepte beim malignen Pleuramesotheliom (MPM). Bei der Mehrzahl Patienten sind aufgrund des Ausbreitungsgrads Erkrankung, ihres Alters bzw. vorhandener Komorbiditaten nur palliative Behandlungsoptionen moglich. Standard in Erstlinientherapie die Kombination von Pemetrexed und Cisplatin, zu einer signifikanten Verlangerung Uberlebens sowie zur Verbesserung Lebensqualitat bei gebesserter Lungenfunktion tumorbedingter Symptome fuhrt.
