摘要: Abstract Objectives To evaluate the sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive value of contrast-enhanced (gadolinium) magnetic resonance imaging (CE-MRA) colour duplex ultrasound (CDU) lower limb arteries. Design Prospective, single centre study. Material methods A consecutive series 58 patients with intermittent claudication (IC) were examined CE-MRA CDU from infrarenal aorta to tibio-peroneal trunk digital subtraction angiography (DSA) as reference. The arterial tree was divided into 15 segments, pooled three regions; suprainguinal, thigh knee. Sensitivity, values for significant obstructions calculated. Cohen Kappa statistics used establish agreement between methods. Results sensitivity (specificity in parentheses) suprainguinal region 96% (94%) 91% (96%) CDU, 92% (95%) 76% (99%) knee 93% 33% (98%) CDU. failed visualize 10% 2% 13% knee-region segments. Conclusions Both are good alternatives DSA suprainguinal- thigh-region. In only can be relied upon an alternative DSA. Imaging by is not suited situations evaluation runoff vessels important.
