摘要: Quantitative genetic research has built a strong case for the importance of factors in many complex behavioral disorders and dimensions domains psychopathology, personality, cognitive abilities. genetics can also provide an empirical guide conceptual framework application molecular genetics. The success elucidating basis largely relied on reductionistic one gene, disorder (OGOD) approach which single gene is necessary sufficient to develop disorder. In contrast, quantitative trait loci (QTL) involves search multiple genes, each neither nor development trait. OGOD QTL approaches have both advantages disadvantages identifying genes that affect human behaviors.
