摘要: The ultrasonic velocities in a polycrystalline aggregate of cubic crystals with orthorhombic symmetry are derived. Use is made the formalism Roe (1965, 1966) for treating texture aggregates. It shown how information about crystallite orientation distribution function can be derived from velocity measurements. This enables construction pole figures, which may compared those obtained neutron diffraction. Application to effect on propagation austenitic welds.
