摘要: The pathophysiology and course of hypertensive cardiovascular disease in the black population differ significantly from those nonblacks. hemodynamic endocrine profiles are different, consequences hypertension more severe blacks, patients often less responsive to standard antihypertensive treatment. Safe efficacious treatment can be achieved when drug therapy is directed at specific underlying pathophysiologic abnormality patients. By closely matching findings a given patient with pharmacologic effects an agent, blood pressure controlled fewer adverse effects. In addition, flow target organs their function maintained or improved. Calcium channel blockers especially well suited for essential
