摘要: Professionally significant enhancement of music and dance performance mood has followed training with an EEG-neurofeedback protocol which increases the ratio theta to alpha waves using auditory feedback eyes closed. While originally was designed induce hypnogogia, a state historically associated creativity, outcome psychological integration, while subsequent applications focusing on raising theta–alpha ratio, reduced depression anxiety in alcoholism resolved post traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD). In optimal studies we confirmed associations creativity musical performance, but effects also included technique communication. We extended efficacy social anxiety. Diversity counterpart wide ranging between oscillations behaviour cognitive affective neuroscience: animals sensory-motor activity exploration, effort, working memory, learning, retention REM sleep; man meditative concentration, sympathetic autonomic activation, as well task demands virtual spatial navigation, focussed sustained attention, recognition having implications for synaptic plasticity long term potentiation. Neuroanatomical circuitry involves ascending mescencephalic-cortical arousal system, limbic circuits subserving affective/motivational functions. Working memory bliss, representing domains, respectively, involve coupling frontal posterior cortices, exemplify role mediating interaction distal widely distributed connections. It is posited that this mediation part underpins integrational attributes alpha–theta psychotherapy, creative technical, communication artistic domains arts.
