摘要: Objective To describe short- (first year of age) and long-term (after 1 outcome in patients with esophageal atresia identify early predictive factors morbidity the first month life. Study design Charts children born January 1990 to May 2005 were reviewed. A complicated evolution was defined as occurrence at least complication: severe gastroesophageal reflux, stricture requiring dilatations, recurrent fistula needing surgery, need for gavage feeding ≥3 months, tracheomalacia, chronic respiratory disease, death. Results total 134 included. Forty-nine percent had a before 1 year age, 54% after year. With bivariate analysis, variables demonstrated, including twin birth, preoperative tracheal intubation, birth weight Conclusion Early are atresia.
