摘要: Due to the fact that norms govern individual behavior, which in turn it is related environmental behaviour, this study tries establish a link between human behavior (in terms of cultural values) and environment. With use robust frontiers paper constructs countries’ efficiency ratios. Then conditions these ratios with values order capture their effect on calculated measures. The empirical results conditional unconditional nonparametric sample 17 OECD countries (for census years 1980, 1990 2000) reveal national culture have changed over from neutral posture towards enhancement efficiency. In addition, indicate there still much work be done policy makers for an efficient culture.
