摘要: Objectives. To study oxidative stress in young patients with focal symptomatic and cryptogenic epilepsy after first onset of epileptic seizures. Materials methods. A total 90 aged 19–44 years took part the were divided into three groups 30 single seizures, clinical remission for one year or more, treatment-resistant The also included presumptively healthy people (20 subjects) who made up control group. Study indicators prooxidant terms TBA-active products antioxidant defense plasma superoxide-scavenging activity, catalase reduced thiols (SH groups). Results. No significant differences found concentration between other parameters (concentration SH groups, activity) activity showed from controls. Significant between-group a number indicators. Conclusions. Changes free-radical processes compared normal seen seizures persisted refractory remission. Given that measures system different patients, it can be suggested components are activated courses epilepsy.
