摘要: Cholangiocarcinoma is an uncommon primary malignancy of the biliary tract that challenging to diagnose and treat effectively due its relatively silent late clinical presentation. The present study reports a case 60-year-old male with distal extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma 3-week history painless obstructive jaundice symptoms subjective weight loss. Imaging revealed obstructing lesion in common bile duct, just entrance cystic duct. Pathology moderately differentiated two positive proximal resection margins. margins presented challenge during surgery points urgent need for further studies better illuminate diagnostic therapeutic options patients similar clinicopathological
