摘要: In the reports of American Concrete Institute Committee 212 on Admixtures, beginning in 1954, reference was made to use admixtures, both chemical and mineral, prevent excessive expansion concrete caused by alkali-silica reaction. Work this topic began at least as far back 1947. Few data admixtures for purpose field are known have been published. Laboratory test results suggest that mineral effective smaller amounts silica content, solubility, fineness increase. Ground granulated iron blast-furnace slag, a hydraulic cement (often incorrectly called admixture), is highly when used make up 60% or more cementitious medium. Its effectiveness probably derives from its ability reduce permeability 1/10 1/100 equal strength using portland alone. Similar effects may occur used. The based soluble salts lithium has referred literature many years reexamined detail Stark 1992 recent Strategic Highway Research Program project It be technically feasible, but it not cost-effective.
