摘要: Cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease at intra/inter patient levels and known as the leading cause of death worldwide. A variety mono combinational therapies including chemotherapy have been evolved over the years for its effective treatment. However, advent chemotherapeutic resistance or multidrug (MDR) in cancer major challenge researchers are facing chemotherapy. MDR complex process having multifaceted non-cellular cellular-based mechanisms. Research area cancer nanotechnology past two decade has now proven that smartly designed nanoparticles help successful chemotherapy by overcoming preferentially accumulate in tumor region means active passive targeting therefore reducing offtarget accumulation payload. Many such nanoparticles different stages clinical trials as nanomedicines showing promising result therapy including resistant cases. Nanoparticles chemotherapeutics carriers offer opportunity to multiple payload drug imaging agents theranostics therapy. Moreover, nanotechnology further bring notice new treatment strategies combining NIR, MRI HIFU chemotherapy and imaging. Here, we discussed cellular/non-cellular factors constituting the role cases cancers. recent advancements like combinational payload delivery combined physical approach with nanotechnology have also discussed.
