Assessing stakeholder needs for adaptation tracking

摘要: Faced with the increasing and irreversible impacts of climate change, a growing number public private stakeholders across vulnerable sectors are engaging in adaptation efforts. However, our knowledge is limited regarding types information being demanded order to track progress nationally. To address this gap, we conducted needs assessment 191 stakeholder organizations. Stakeholder classified into fourteen themes, encompassing measurements implementation, outcome learning, data availability methods, crosscutting aspects. With approximately half organizations surveyed expressing need for tracking, conclude that there significant demand for: 1) translating risk damage costs; 2) monitoring institutional policy coordination coherence; 3) evaluating outputs outcomes inform decision-making.
