摘要: In this paper, we study the transmissivity of electromagnetic waves through stacked two-dimensional printed periodic arrays square conducting patches. An analytical circuit-like model is used for analysis. The accounts details transmission spectrum provided that period unit cell each patterned layer well below wavelength in dielectric slabs separating surfaces. particular, analyze low-pass band and rejection behavior multilayer structure, results are validated by comparison with a computationally intensive finite element commercial solver. limiting case an infinite structure analytically solved corresponding to explain passband/stopband structures. addition, depth elementary consisting single slab coated two metal patch arrays, its resonance explained terms Fabry-Perot resonances when electrical thickness large enough. such case, concept equivalent ideal resonator introduced. For electrically thinner it also shown still valid, first peak lumped-circuit LC resonance.
